TANZANIA SAFARI & ZANZIBAR – 11 Days

01. FRI. Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Our driver is waiting for you and brings you to Arusha. The transfer takes around 1 hour. Enjoy the rest of the day. Dinner & ON at your hotel.

02. You leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park. To the gate you will need about 2 hours. Enter the park and have first game drives along the Tarangire river. Enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic site and proceed with your game drives after the break. Dinner & ON lodgr

03. Today you leave the Tarangire National Park, cross the Great Rift Valley and the Crater Highland. Take a first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater and proceed to the world famous Serengeti National Park. On the way you can have a stop at Olduvai Gorge and get some information about how Mrs Leakey has found the evidence of the first human being walking upright. Enjoy picnic lunch there or on the way. Game en route to your accommodation at a lodge or Tented Camp.

04. Discover landscape and animals on your game drives today through Serengeti. You have several options to spend the day today: do early morning game drive, have hot lunch at the camp and do another late afternoon game drive before dinner or do a full day game drive with packed picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight lodge or Tented Camp.

05. Today you will leave the world famous Serengeti National Park and return to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Enjoy this unbelievable view over the crater. Relax and get ready for another adventure the next day. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or other.

06. On your last day on Safari you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater. In the beginning you will descend 600 m to the crater floor. As soon as you have reached there, start your game drives. You will find wildebeests, zebras and lions strolling around in the crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool – but take care of the Kites, that they don’t steel your sandwich. After the game drives leave the crater and return to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

07. After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival our driver will wait for you and will transfer you to your Zanzibar hotel. The beach is stunning. Perfect to relax after the safari. The stay is combined with an all inclusive offer.

08, 09, 10. Days of leisure in Zanzibar. While you are there you can organize yourself trips to different interesting places on the island, including the visit of stone town, Jozani forest and much more. Staying in hotel on all inclusive basis.

11. MON. Transfer on time to catch your flight back home.
