Honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar – 14 Days Safari and Zanzibar

Day 1 Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport issue your visa (50 US per person adn 100 US per person if you are a US citizen). Get your luggage and go through customs. Our driver is waiting for you with a little welcome gift and brings you to Arusha. The transfer takes around 1 hour. Enjoy the rest of the day and nice dinner at the Kibo Palace Hotel.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park
Our driver picks you from Kibo Palace in the morning. You leave Arusha going towards Tarangire National Park. To the gate you will need about 2 hours. Enter the park and have first game drives along the Tarangire river. Enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic site and proceed with your game drives after the break. After the first impressions you will reach Osupuko Lodge. A newly built lodge outside the park in Maasai style. The bungalows are comfortable and offer a stunning view into the Park. Enjoy your dinner and the sunset.

Day 3 Tarangire National Park with Balloon Safari
Your day will start very early. You will proceed to the starting point of your balloon safari in the Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the view from above for one hour. After you have reached back to the ground enjoy a champagne breakfast and a short game drive. Over lunch time relax at the lodge and enter again the park for a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at Osupuko Lodge.

Day 4 Serengeti National Park
Today you leave the Tarangire National Park, cross the Great Rift Valley and the Crater Highland. Take a first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater and proceed to the world famous Serengeti National Park. On the way you can have a stopp at Olduvai Gorge and get some information about how Mrs Leakey has found the evidence of the first human being walking upright. Enjoy picnic lunch there or on the way. Game en route to your accommodation the Exclusive Mobile Tented Camp. As honeymooners you will be offered a bottle of wine and a fruit basket on arriving.
Day 5 Serengeti National Park
Discover landscape and animals on your game drives today through Serengeti. You have several options to spend the day today: do early morning game drive, have hot lunch at the camp and do another late afternoon game drive before dinner or do a full day game drive with packed picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Exclusive Mobile Tented Camp.

Day 6 Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Today you will leave the world famous Serengeti National Park and return to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Enjoy this unbelievable view over the crater. Relax and get ready for another adventure the next day. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serenea Lodge.

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha
On your last day on Safari you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater. In the beginning you will descedn 600 m to the crater floor. As soon as you have reached there, start your game drives. You will find wildebeests, zebras and lions strolling around in the crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool – but take care of the Kites, that they don’t steel your sandwich. After the game drives leave the crater and return to Arusha. Dinner and overnight in Kibo Palace Hotel.

Day 8 Arusha – Zanzibar
After breakfast on time, we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival our driver will wait for you and will transfer you to Anna of Zanzibar. This is located on the East Coast and is the perfect hideaway for honeymooners. With only 5 Villas it is a very intimate place. The beach and the garden is stunning. Perfect to relax after the safari. The stay is combined with an all inclusive offer.

Day 9 – 13 Zanzibar

Day 14 Leaving day
Transfer on time to catch your flight back home. End of your honeymoon.
